I have my grandmother's set with which we made butterballs for the holidays. In our family, it was a tradition. I plan on buying two each (they don't come in a pair) for my siblings so my nieces and nephews can experience the same. Thank you for carrying them!

I ordered this to mold butter balls for my antique butter server. If that is what you intend this for, be aware you receive only one paddle. I was surprised! as I anticipated a pair. Had to order another one to be able to mold the butter. The paddle is wonderful, you just get one.

This is great for larger batches of butter. It fits well in my hand and works the butter well--enabling me to get more of the buttermilk and water out!

I waited several months for this item to come back in stock, but I am very pleased I did. This works so much better than my wooden spoon or hands for getting the whey out of my homemade butter. The length of the paddle and the way it fits my hand allows me to exert just the right amount of pressure on the butter to get the whey out. The angled part on the end of the paddle on the flat side is helpful in folding the butter over as I'm working it. A great purchase!
