Expand the delicious dishes you can make with your Lancaster No. 8 skillet. The No. 8 cast iron lid is self-basting, allowing steam to drip evenly over your food instead of collecting around the edges.
What does the number "8" mean?
Lancaster cookware uses traditional American cast iron sizing metrics dating back to the 1800s. The numbers correlate to the size of ports on antique wood stoves. The number 8 is traditionally a top diameter 10-1/2" skillet.
