I am so glad I finally bought this item. I change the water at least once a week to keep it fresh and I've had no problems with my butter staying fresh. I didn't imagine this would work but it does. The little marble crock pot is pretty sitting on the counter or the table. The butter stays soft and pliable and I'm one happy camper.

We have had our Marble butter crock for a few years and really like it. Won't ever go back to a regular butter dish. Like having butter spreadable at all times.

This is an excellent butter crock! I have had ones before that don't have snug fitting lids; this one is so snug and smooth, it makes good suction taking it out. The marble looks good on pretty much any countertop as well...

I have ordered 9 butter bells in total and 2 of this kind. I keep 2 of them on my counter all the time. Butter keeps fresh.
