My old hoe has been hanging in the barn since I got this. Weeds don't stand a chance. Wish the handle was a little longer but it's great.

This is exactly what I hoped it would be. I'm a senior citizen, and find that this gets at the weeds from all sides. My drop in star rating is because the handle is a bit rough - it threatens but has not given splinters. I plan to wrap some gaffer's tape around the part I hold (easier than sanding and refinishing!)

This is great for weeding close to rows and makes hoeing quick and easy in heavy clay soil even though the head is small. Makes nice planting rows too.

just wonderful, light weight and sharp.

The Sickle Bar tooth cultivator comes in very handy. I am handicapped and in a wheelchair and the lighter weight of the Sickle bar cultivator makes it much easier for me to hoe around things. I'm thinking about cutting the handle shorter, because the shorter length would make the hoe easier to use while setting in my wheelchair. Thanks for making this hoe available.

This is a great tool, obviously made with high quality metal and fine craftsmanship. My friend has one that has been used for years and works great even though the blade has shrunk in size from years of sharpening.

I love it! It came sharp and by keeping it sharp I'm able to hoe between plants easily and safely, and even use it impromptu as a sickle on the taller weeds! I am also using it to form the furrow in prepared ground for seeds. A++

This is an excellent tool. I can't work on my knees any more, and the hoe is small enough to reach into the small spaces that I used to weed by hand.

I LOVE!!!! this tool. Its makes weeding a snap without kneeling down (I also bought one for my step Mother who had hip surgery and she loves it.) I breeze though all my flower beds(approx 1/2 acre in size) in very little time. EXAM: One flower bed use to take 8 to 10 hours and the time I spend now is about 1 to 2 hours, I'm not joking...

I purchased one of these tougher-than-nails garden hoes four years ago from you. It has become my most frequently used yard tool. It is perfect for this Western North Carolina hard clay/mica soil, even in drought. It also has year round use for scritching out those little weeds that come up between the patio bricks.

Update to my previous review. My new favorite hoe became My KIDS' hoe I never get to use because they grab it first. So I ordered another. So they said Only ONE more? and I still don't get to use it often enough!

Great for cultivating around plants in the garden. It allows you to work easily in cramped spaces between plants.

Strong and sharp, does a wonderful job in my heavy clay soil. Cuts tap roots, lifts quack grass, flips out little weeds. Hefty enough to bite into the soil, light and compact enough that it's very easy and comfortable to use. My new favorite hoe.
