The split willow laundry basket is a cheaply made import and not a good value. It might have decorative use but the small size makes it impractical for laundry.

Bit small, but just the product we wanted and it is sturdy and handy!

We are usually very pleased by our Lehman purchases but this made in China product is a disappointment. It is substantially smaller than the dimensions give which is central to it's utility. It does not look like it will hold a full laundry load. The length is listed as 22 1/4 Our basket measures 19 3/4 outside to outside. The height is listed as 14 1/2. Ours measures 10 3/4 from the floor to the top of the basket and 13 1/4 to the top of the handles. Width is listed as 15 and this one dimension is accurate. The color is also a rather artificial bright orange color as opposed to the more natural brown we were expecting based on the catalog and website photos. It dopes look reasonably solid.

It is a good basket, but a bit smaller and lighter-built than expected. I suggest the catalog should give its dimensions as 20 x 15 x 11 inches. Our last willow laundry basket lasted nearly 10 years. This one is not as strongly built, but we'll take care of it and see how well it lasts.

This basket is beautiful! Since I usually do larger loads of laundry, it doesn't work for toting clothes around the house. But it is wonderful for in my bedroom has a clothes hamper until it is time to do laundry!
