Cows don't have horns
May 2, 2020
I've emailed Lehman's telling them that this add is misleading. The buyer should know that although this is a genuine Theirrs Issard straight razor blade and it is beautiful, it is a "blond bison handle" razor. It will not look like the picture. The "blond" handle will be predominantly white, or ivory in color. I bought this during the covid-19 pandemic and the customer service was very poor. Although this may be different when the world isn't as hectic as it is now, I was disappointed with how Lehman's customer service. What they tell you on the phone and in their automated messages will not be the service you receive. If you do not mind the handle not looking like the advertised picture, the razor is a beautiful piece. But as advertised, it is not what you will receive. This review is the complete truth. Think about it, cows do not have horns!
Lehman's says: Thank you for your comments! Most of our product descriptions come directly from material provided by the manufacturers. We will reach out to them to verify the information listed.

It shaves well and is well made.

I have the razor with the plastic handle. The joint in the handle became loose and allowed the blade to hit the handle, causing some dings, which I was not able to sharpen out. I had to grind off some of the blade. Eventually, the handle broke off completely. While this is a good razor, it does not last a lifetime.

I have the Lehman's Best razor. It's an excellent razor. You can tell that it's made to last a lifetime. I like the wider blade and the cow horn handle. It's easier to use than my old one because it fits my hand better. --Gary
