It is easy to use and washes very well in the dishwasher. I have had mine for 5 years and it still works great.

This pitter worked great! My FIL borrowed it and quickly ordered one for himself after years of using a hand pitter. Very impressed and would definetly recommend.

Over the years we have purchased and used a number of different cherry pitters. This is by far the BEST Cherry Pitter we have ever used. It is fast, easy to clean and actually pits almost all of the cherries put through it. We highly recommend it to others.

We had a bumper crop of cherries and needed a pitter right away. It was shipped immediately and well packed. It worked great and saved us hours of work. Sure beats hand-pitting!

I am very unsatisfied with this unit. It didn't matter what sized cherries that were used, only about 60% of the cherries were pitted, The Cherries would get stuck were the pits were supposed to fall. When I placed the parts in the dishwasher to be cleaned the bottom container softened and became bent from the hot water. Then the pieces no longer fit together,I suggest not purchasing this item, I am returning mine.

This pitter is so fast and easy that my husband volunteered to pit for me. Canned 14 pints of sweet cherries very quickly. It took longer to stem and wash then to pit. I will never go back to canning cherries with pits!

For regular large cherries you just throw handfuls in the hopper and push as fast as you can. For tiny wild cherries I throw them in ONE AT A TIME and push them through As fast as I can throw them in. An incredible machine! One I would not want to process our abundance of cherries without. For the really tiny wild cherries you get a few pits but these CHERRIES are as small as regular cherry PITS!

Good pitter. Just pitted 12 out of 15 cherries w/no problem; the other 3 had to be re-done. A 20% failure rate, but I just got it & it may take some practice. Also, works best on medium sized cherries.

Our cherries are small pie cherries. This tool pushes much of the fruit down into the pit chamber. Most of the rest does not release from the pitting bit and the pit is often still attached. I find it much easier to do the pitting by hand.

This works fantastic and is the first that we have used that works on sweet cherries without crushing them. Smaller sized cherries escape by dropping through the chute without stopping so one needs to check the finished lots.

We have so many sour cherry trees & this year I finally searched for a pitter. This cherry pitter is a amazing It works so fast & clean.

This machine is an animal! So glad I got it. The only consideration I have is that I noticed that it works best with big cherries. Cherries on the small side tumble through the feeder 2 & 3 at a time, so I had to review the pitted cherries for any escapees. Highly recommended.

I LOVE this! I only got it this year but have been using it quite a bit this cherry season. Pitted four gallons yesterday quickly and easily. Thank goodness for this! It seems quite sturdy.

Fantastic! I'm ordering a second one, as a spare and for when I have an offer for help. My original one has been responsible for lots of pies and cobblers for the past five years and is still going strong! Thank you Lehman's for being that one stop shop for all of those items that are timeless and make our lives easier!!!

I love this thing! It made fast work of pitting a mountain of cherries. The only problem I had was that some of them were quite large and didn't fit through the chute. Also a bit messy - so it worked best to set it and the bowl on a cookie sheet. It's my new favorite kitchen gadget!

I love this cherry pitter! Works wonderful, and no red fingers! Money well spent too. Thanks Lehman's.

The best thing since sliced bread. Fast and easy to use. Easy clean up

Excellent! It works exactly like it said it would. It does all sizes of cherries and there is very little juice lost...just the pits! I'm so glad I purchased this!

I'm so glad I saw this item featured on Lehman's. I've had tons of frustration with other cherry pitters in the past; this one is a joy. Quick easy action; easy clean-up; few missed pits. I wish the chute held more, but that's a small quibble. I'll have a freezer full of sweet cherries thanks to you folks!

This is by far the best pitter I have come across, even my 8 old daughters can use it without problem, my only issue is the container for the pits deteriorates over time but when that happens I just buy another, so far I have found nothing even close to as good.

I was worried because it is plastic but it works just fine and the plastic is the hard type, not brittle. I think it will hold up for seasonal cherry pitting. The first time I used it I pitted 2 lbs. and only missed one pit -not too bad. You remove stems, fill bowl with cherries and pull down the lever. The pit falls into the clear container and the pitted cherries can be caught with a cereal bowl placed under the chute. You do have to rearrange the cherries sometimes so they fall into the pitting area, but this machine saves so much time versus cutting around each pit to remove! You can pit a cherry every second or two. Just a word of advice: don't pit more cherries than you plan to eat within a day or two because they will go bad quicker being pitted (no fault of the cherry pitter though).

Just got it a few days ago. No cherries here to pit yet with the cool weather! Unit is well made and appears durable. Looking forward to making short work of the pits when the cherries ripen as that is a really tedious job without this kind of a unit. Unit arrived very well packed and in a timely manner.

Works great, just as described. I just wish I had found it earlier in the cherry season. Some over ripe cherries fail to pop into the bowl, but as long as they aren't too mushy the machine works just fine.

This is an absolute must have if you prepare fresh cherries often. Fast, efficient, wonderful. It takes a bit of practice to make sure each cherry is pitted. I found a few missed pits when I 1st began.

I used my cherry pitter for the first time today. I was amazed at how fast the job was completed and the clean up was minimal. I'm glad I invested in this little gadjet :)

I clocked it at seventy-three per minute. It is a wonderful machine! I should've invested in one years ago.
