"This is a wonderful tool for letting your ashes cool before you dispose of them. I have two of these and absolutely love them"

"I purchased this several years ago and I'm still using it for my wood stove ashes. It's a pretty good size and a useful "cooling off" place for the ashes before they get dumped outside."

"The bucket is well made however the description in the catalog led me to believe there was an internal baffle in the bucket to prevent ash dust from escaping into the room while cleaning the woodstove. There is NO internal baffle and when I contacted Lehman personnel they indicated the "baffle" is actually the top being bent over around the edges from escaping....???? I probably wouldn't have purchased this expensive ash carrier if I'd known there was no internal baffle. It would be easy to tack weld a piece of sheet metal to act as a baffle--and I may do this on my own. The bucket would be much more efficient with this type of internal baffle."
