TRADITIONAL MEXICAN VANILLA DESCRIPTION
Did you know that when vanilla beans are harvested, they have neither flavor nor fragrance?

Amazingly, vanilla beans must remain on the vine for nine months, then go through an arduous curing and drying process in order to develop the complex flavor and fragrance the world has grown to love. Beans are heated in ovens or blanched in hot water, then placed in the sun for weeks, or sometimes months. They are then placed in large wooden boxes and allowed to "sweat." They will lose up to 80% of their moisture content before the process is complete. The entire process from pollination to shipment takes about one year.

"I purchased this product the first time about a year or more ago and my opinion has not changed a bit! It's the best for any recipe that calls for vanilla! There's no comparison to anything else I've tried! "

"I ordered this product once before, and I ordered 2 more bottles because it's the best I've ever used in my opinion. I use it in my ground coffee more than I've ever used it for baking. I have used it also in some of my home-made deserts. A very good product."

"I made blueberry muffins using my regular recipe and substituting the Mexican vanilla for my usual "imitation" vanilla...wow! The results were delicious. One of my dinner guests ate 3 muffins himself and his wife ate 2. It really enhanced the flavor of the berries and made the muffins richer and sweeter. I just may get addicted to this stuff! Can't wait to try it in other recipes."
