"Do not know why I did not get this hoe sooner. It has truely saved me time and back ache. It cut through the dirt roots and all with little effort. Very well made."

"Hands down the best hoe I have ever bought. Heavy duty and built to last. A wonderful item. Makes short work of nasty weeds."

"Within 30 minutes of receiving the Italian Grape Hoe, I had assembled it and was busy scraping off some weedy ground. Works beautifully!"

"Head must be attached to handle. The handle is beautifully made, the head is not. It is a very rough casting made in China. It took me a considerable amount to time to file the burrs off the eye of the head in order for it to slide onto the handle. Once assembled, it's a wonderful heavy duty tool. I did strip the cheap poly finish off the handle and rub it with linseed oil. Much more comfortable to use. I also ground a much sharper edge on it than what came from the factory."

"I haven't been able to sand down the handle enough to attach the head. It's too bad the handle did not closer fir the hole it was supposed to slide into! I do not want to have it cut off shorter so it would fit on. It is as if someone didn't get the size matched up. I do not want to return it, because I need it NOW! "

"WARNING. The head and handle come unattached. It is very difficult to drive the head onto the handle without damaging the wood."

"Head is a good weight, size, and shape. Handle is too short. Making a longer handle for it is too much trouble, so I am buying a competing brand instead, even thought the competing head is lighter and narrower."
