Solve the problem of butter that’s too hard in winter and a melted mess in summer. This boat works the same way as our ancient-style butter crocks, but it’s designed to hold a standard 4-oz stick of butter. Fill the bottom portion with water, place butter dish on top and finish with the lid for fresh, perfectly spreadable butter every time you need it. No refrigeration needed!
  • Classic white porcelain boat looks great in every kitchen and attractive on the table.
  • Dishwasher safe.
  • 8"Lx3"H, imported.

"As a Lehman's employee, I enjoy the recommendations I get from customers. Today a customer placed an order for a butter boat to give to her daughter, because she loves her own so much. She said the butter doesn't go rancid in the warm months, and doesn't get too hard to spread in the cold months. She convinced me to buy one soon! Lisa, Customer Service"

"I love my butter boat! I ordered it with a great deal of skepticism as to whether or not it would deliver on its promises. It does! I keep this on my counter and it doesn't matter if the weather (and my kitchen!) is hot or cold, the butter remains spreadable, neither freezing nor melting into a puddle. I couldn't be more pleased!"

"I have had this butter boat for about 6 years and love it. Works perfectly! We burn our stove all winter long so our dining room and kitchen are always on the warm side, but the butter stays perfect in the butter boat. Great gift idea!"

"We bought this butter dish because we live in Tucson, Arizona. You put a stick of butter on the table and it's running all over the table in no time. This dish works. I put two ice cubes in the base and the butter is fine and not to firm where you can't spread it. Maybe throw in one more ice cube later. LOVE it!!!! It's made to order for Tucson."

"We were so tired of either melting butter or butter that was too cold to spread that we decided to give this dish a try. It works! Even in the humid summer heat, the butter is soft but not a runny mess. I don't understand the science behind this dish, I just know it works!"

"Very handy! Loved our butter bell, but this one fits stick butter or homemade so is more versatile for us."

"I love the fact that this butter dish keeps the butter from being too hard in winter and too soft in summer. I also bought one to give as a gift."

"Love this for butter! The butter is always soft, and fresh. And, when the first one arrived with a broken lid, Lehman's replaced the whole thing right away - no hassel at all!"

"Just received this. I'm sure it works as described just like the butter bell does, but the lid on this model doesn't fit well and seems cheaply made. "
