"I purchased 2 of these lamps for emergency use when the lights are out. I was so delighted with them that I purchased 2 more. Not very well shown is the fact that it has a hook that drops down into the handle when not needed. This makes it easy to hang it high – where it will do the most good - and use the remote to turn it off and on." --A Satisfied Lehman's Customer

"Worked as stated from the very first set-up. I like the fact that the light is directed downward as I use it for finding and walking a path at night . . ." --Thomas

"Lamp works fine, but the remote does not work. Not really worth sending the whole thing back. Just too bad they don't have better suppliers."

"I purchased this item and bought new batteries at a local store. I received the lantern and put the batteries in it. It worked and I packed it back in the box and drove to my grandson's house and handed it to him as a gift. He took the lantern out and I took the remote. I went to show him how it worked and it didn't! I checked the batteries with a multimeter and they were perfect. The light on the remote flashed when you pressed the button on it. The only thing that worked on the lantern was when you put the dial on it onto the remote position and the little red light lit. It looked like a good item but it turned out to be a dud. Some of the things the Chinese make are Ok. This one is not. Save your cash for something that will last."
