"So many recipes to choose from, and those we've tried have been outstanding! One of those cookbooks that will stay on the counter and not on a shelf!"

"Received quickly in perfect condition. I can't wait to cook from what looks like a fabulous collection of practical, tasty and clever recipes from Lehman's staff and families in the area. The interesting and very useful part is the 'Miscellaneous Recipes' section that includes recipes for larger groups (for serving 20+ individuals) canning several delicious items including chicken and even a recipe for home made liquid laundry soap (a great thought especially since cooking can be messy!) "I tried the 'sample recipe' that came in my newsletter. It was Gloria Miller's Bread-in-a-Jar Pumpkin Bread. It was delicious! I tried several variations while I awaited the arrival of my cookbook. They were all delicious. I can't wait to try some of the other recipes that I have read since receiving my copy. I love recipes that are 'family favorites' included in this type of book. They quickly become my favorites, too. "

"Awesome cookbook and I know cookbooks. You won't go wrong adding this cookbook to any cookbook collection. The recipes I have used so far are realistic and flavorful with ease of creating them. Try the Fireball Apples and the Amish Dressing. You'll like both."

"I probally own about 500 cookbooks and I would rate this one in the top 20. It has "realistic recipes" most of which can be made with the ingredients already in your pantry."

"I was disappointed in this book. It's just a church, PTA, or other group cookbook, with a gathering of recipes from various folks. Many of the recipes are very similar. A good editor, and some test kitchen time could have helped."
