"So many recipes to choose from, and those we've tried have been outstanding! One of those cookbooks that will stay on the counter and not on a shelf!"

"I was fortunate to buy two cookbooks during the month of September while they were the buy of the month. I am nearly halfway through reading the recipes and know I will enjoy using a great ;many of them. I especially like to read the names of the persons who contributed the recipes. It makes me feel almost as if I know them. This will be a cookbook I will treasure, and I know the other one will be treasured. It is going to my daughter-in-law who also likes down to earth recipes. Thank you Lehman's for offering the book."

"Received quickly in perfect condition. I can't wait to cook from what looks like a fabulous collection of practical, tasty and clever recipes from Lehman's staff and families in the area. The interesting and very useful part is the 'Miscellaneous Recipes' section that includes recipes for larger groups (for serving 20+ individuals) canning several delicious items including chicken and even a recipe for home made liquid laundry soap (a great thought especially since cooking can be messy!) "I tried the 'sample recipe' that came in my newsletter. It was Gloria Miller's Bread-in-a-Jar Pumpkin Bread. It was delicious! I tried several variations while I awaited the arrival of my cookbook. They were all delicious. I can't wait to try some of the other recipes that I have read since receiving my copy. I love recipes that are 'family favorites' included in this type of book. They quickly become my favorites, too. "

"This review, more than anything is about Lehman's. You just don't find many companies like this anymore. I had placed an order on August 31st, and had order the "Fatal Funnels" (wasp traps) as they were the special of the month. I had also ordered this Anniversary Cookbook as I was most interested in it. Then, on Sept 1st, I received an email from Lehman's, and guess what??? the cookbook was the special of the month for September. My thoughts ..............oh, well...........at least I'll get the cookbook. When my order arrived, guess what?? Lehman's charged me the reduced price any how. Didn't have to, just did. That's the kind of company they are. (PS the cookbook is GREAT) Sign me.........A Lifetime Lehmans' Customer."
